Pitts announced his retirement.

Zac Ventola of Patriots Today reported that Pitts announced his retirement via Instagram. Pitts plans to start a new career in financial management:
“Since I was 4 years old, I’ve had a football in my hand. I’ve been very fortunate to play this game every fall for the past 21 years. Thank you to everyone who was part of this journey and all the family I have made along the way. You’ve helped me fulfill my childhood dreams of playing college football and playing in the NFL.

Today, I’m officially hanging up my cleats and turning to the next chapter of my life. I’m excited to announce that I’ll be joining a multi-million dollar financial management team at Ameriprise Financial. With all the support I’ve received along the way, I want to pay it forward and give back to the community. My goal is to assist people in managing their finances, understanding financial concepts, and helping families create financial plans for the future.

Onwards and Upwards!”

We wish Pitts the best in his future endeavors.
