Titans Sign Fourth-Round Pick Cedric Gray
The Tennessee Titans have reached an agreement with Cedric Gray, their fourth-round draft pick.
Gray, chosen with the 106th overall pick, was a standout performer in 2023, earning first team All-ACC honors and being named a Butkus Award semifinalist.
During his three seasons with the North Carolina Tar Heels, Gray played in 51 games, starting 37. He accumulated 369 tackles, 8.5 sacks, five interceptions, five forced fumbles, and 13 pass break-ups, with 30 of his tackles occurring behind the line of scrimmage.
In the 2023 season, Gray started all 12 games, amassing 121 tackles, five sacks, 11 tackles for a loss, and an interception, along with seven QB pressures. He had five games with double-digit tackles and ranked second in the ACC for total tackles.
The Titans have now signed six of their seven draft picks: Gray, offensive tackle JC Latham (1st round), cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr. (5th round), receiver Jha’Quan Jackson (6th round), linebacker James Williams (7th round), and outside linebacker Jaylen Harrell (7th round).
Defensive lineman T’Vondre Sweat, the second-round pick from Texas, remains unsigned.
