**Jordyn Kee Signs With Bulldogs, Bolstering Top-10 Freshman Class**

**ATHENS, Ga.** — Jordyn Kee, a three-star prospect ranked as the nation’s No. 15 combo guard in the Class of 2024, has officially signed with the Georgia Bulldogs, announced head coach Mike White on Friday.

Kee, who stands 6-4 and weighs 175 pounds, hails from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He played a crucial role in The Sagemont School’s 2024 Florida Class 2A state championship win, averaging 11.2 points, 4.1 assists, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game. Kee posted 16 double-digit scoring games in 28 appearances, including a season-high 26 points against Norland and 16 points with five assists in the state title game versus Orlando Christian Prep.

Prior to his senior year, Kee played at Legacy Early College School in Greenville, S.C., during his junior year, and at Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale as a sophomore, where he averaged 14.4 points and 3.1 rebounds.

Kee is the eighth new recruit for the Bulldogs this spring, joining two freshmen and five transfers. Georgia’s high school recruiting class is ranked No. 9, and its transfer class is No. 6 nationally by On3.com, making Georgia the only program with both classes in the top 10.

**Frank Abson:** 6-9, 235-pound junior forward from Pompano Beach, Fla., 2024 Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Year from Appalachian State.
– **Somto Cyril:** 6-10, 252-pound freshman center from Enugu, Nigeria, ranked No. 42 nationally, played with the Overtime Elite program in Atlanta.
**RJ Godfrey:** 6-8, 228-pound junior forward from Suwanee, Ga., two-time first-team all-state at North Gwinnett High School, helped Clemson to the “Elite Eight” in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
**Tyrin Lawrence:** 6-4, 200-pound graduate guard from Monticello, Ga., scored 1,000 points at Vanderbilt, averaged 14.6 ppg in SEC play.
**Dakota Leffew:** 6-5, 185-pound graduate guard from Jonesboro, Ga., first-team All-MAAC at Mount St. Mary’s, averaged 17.6 ppg.
**De’Shayne Montgomery:** 6-4, 190-pound sophomore guard from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., 2024 MAAC Rookie of the Year at Mount St. Mary’s.
– **Asa Newell:** 6-10, 215-pound freshman forward from Destin, Fla., ranked No. 12 in the Class of 2024 by ESPN, second-highest ESPN recruit in Georgia history.

Entering his third season, Coach White has steadily built momentum for the Bulldogs. In the 2022-23 season, Georgia increased their regular-season wins by 10, the second-largest improvement among Power 6 programs. Last season, they earned their first postseason bid since 2017, reaching the NIT semifinals and achieving their first 20-win season since 2016.
