Official LSU News: Just In Two LSU Players Have Entered Their Names In The Transfer Portal

Two LSU softball pitchers have entered the transfer portal, as reported by Softball Portal on social media platform X.

LSU softball pitchers Raelin Chaffin and Emma Strood have entered the transfer portal, according to a post by Softball Portal on social-media site X.

Sophomore right-hander Raelin Chaffin from Bossier City, LSU’s No. 3 pitcher, made 23 appearances and 15 starts this season. She posted an 11-5 record with a 2.86 ERA, two saves, four complete games, and three shutouts, including a notable 5-0 shutout against Jackson State in the Baton Rouge regional.

Emma Strood, also a sophomore right-hander from Clear Springs, Texas, appeared in two games, achieving a 2-0 record with a 3.89 ERA.

LSU’s softball team ended their season with a 44-17 record, falling short of the Women’s College World Series after losing to Stanford in the super regionals.
