Knox Bennett, the younger brother of renowned Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Stetson Bennett, has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs baseball team. Knox announced his decision on X, previously known as Twitter.
As a sophomore at Chipola College, Bennett primarily played infield, batting .350 with three home runs and 21 RBIs in 117 at-bats during the 2023-2024 season. He appeared in 49 games for Chipola, helping the team achieve a 36-19 record. Like his brother, Stetson, Knox also has a background in junior college athletics.
Georgia baseball is currently experiencing a strong postseason, being the No. 7 national seed and starting the Athens Regional with a 2-0 record. The team seems to be thriving under first-year manager Wes Johnson.
