Auburn has secured a commitment from 4-star cornerback Donovan Starr, who announced his decision on social media following his first visit to The Plains. Starr expressed that he felt at home at Auburn, stating, “I just got that feeling, it felt like home and when you know you know.”
Starr, who visited Auburn officially on June 4, is ranked as the 27th best cornerback in the 2025 class and the sixth top prospect in Tennessee by 247Sports.
Before choosing Auburn, Starr had also visited Tennessee and Clemson.
In addition to Auburn, Starr had received offers from 31 other programs, including Florida, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi State, Missouri, and Ole Miss.
Starr’s commitment boosts Auburn’s 2025 recruiting class to 12 members, joining fellow 4-star cornerback Devin Williams and 3-star cornerback Dante Core, enhancing their ninth-ranked class.
