4-Star DB Chuck McDonald Commits to Alabama
Chuck McDonald, a four-star defensive back from Mater Dei High School in California, has verbally committed to Alabama football. McDonald becomes part of the Crimson Tide’s 2025 recruiting class.
Standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 190 pounds, McDonald meets Alabama’s criteria for tall, athletic defensive backs.
He excels at breaking on the ball with impressive closing speed and shows strong tackling skills near the line of scrimmage due to his anticipation. Additionally, McDonald demonstrates excellent coverage abilities, effectively mirroring wide receiver routes and disrupting passes with his physicality.
