Terry Rooney, LSU baseball’s associate director of program development and recruiting, is expected to become the next pitching coach at South Carolina, as reported by D1Baseball. LSU personnel have not confirmed this report.
Rooney was LSU’s pitching coach under head coach Paul Mainieri from 2007 to 2008 before moving to Central Florida as head coach. Prior to LSU, Rooney served as Mainieri’s pitching coach at Notre Dame from 2003 to 2005.
