Geron Christian, an experienced offensive lineman, has signed with the Tennessee Titans. Given that Christian played for Bill Callahan’s Cleveland Browns during the previous season, the deal is intriguing. If Bill did not believe he had a chance to at least contribute to the squad, the Titans would not have signed him. I know I’ll be saying this a lot, but if he’s good enough for Bill Callahan, then he’s good enough for me, too.
In 2018, Christian was selected by the (now) Washington Commanders in the third round of the draft. Throughout his six-year career, he has also played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans.
Over the past two seasons, the Titans have demonstrated that an offensive line can never have too many options. Christian might be considered as a starting right tackle or as a depth option. The Titans have a good number of choices for right tackle. The only thing to wonder is if they have any good alternatives at the job.
