Breaking: Jason Kidd Confirm 1 Mavericks Star To Be Given ‘A Break’

Jason Kidd Urges Media to Ease Up on Mavericks’ Luka Doncic

After a valiant effort in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, the Dallas Mavericks fell to the Boston Celtics, bringing them to the brink of a sweep on their home court. As they prepare to face the Celtics again at the American Airlines Center on Friday, the Mavericks are looking to secure at least one win to extend their season.

Luka Doncic, Dallas’ star player, has faced criticism for his frequent complaints to referees, despite his strong performance in the series. Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd believes the media and fans should ease up on Doncic, according to Dave McMenamin.

Doncic has scored over 30 points in two of the three games in the series, but in Game 3, he struggled with his shooting, hitting just 11 of 27 shots and only one of seven three-point attempts. He was also fouled out with just over four minutes remaining on a contentious blocking call, which was upheld even after a challenge. At that point, the Mavericks had cut a 21-point deficit to just three points. Following Doncic’s exit, Kyrie Irving brought the Mavericks within one point, but they couldn’t complete the comeback, ultimately losing 106-99.

With Game 4 looming as a do-or-die situation, it’s time for Doncic to prove his resilience and lead his team to victory under pressure.
