2025 DL London Simmons Commits to Alabama Football
Alabama football strengthened its future defensive line with the commitment of 2025 recruit London Simmons on Sunday. Simmons, a three or four-star prospect according to national recruiting services, announced his decision on social media with Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports.
Playing for Hartfield Academy in Mississippi, Simmons is rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports and a four-star by On3 and Rivals. He chose Alabama over NC State and Mississippi State.
The 6-foot-3, 305-pound Simmons had an impressive junior season, recording 15 sacks, 80 total tackles (25 for loss), and forcing three fumbles.
Simmons is Alabama’s 16th commitment in the 2025 class, which includes punter Alex Asparuhov. This class is ranked No. 3 nationally by the 247Sports composite.
He is the second defensive line commit in the class, joining four-star prospect Antonio Coleman from Saraland, who committed in March.
The 2025 class continues to take shape with more commitments expected as Alabama hosts official visits in Tuscaloosa. This will be Kalen DeBoer’s first full recruiting class as head coach, following Nick Saban’s retirement in January.
