Auburn Tigers News: Football Commits Solidify Their Commitments
In today’s Auburn Tigers News, several Auburn football commits have solidified their commitments and shut down their recruitment.
Over the weekend, Auburn hosted multiple recruits for official visits, including 4-star safety Eric Winters, who committed to the Tigers during his visit.
Among the visitors, some were uncommitted or currently pledged to other programs, while others who have already committed to Auburn were present and decided to solidify their commitments.
One such commit is 4-star tight end Ryan Ghea from Alpharetta, Georgia. Ghea, who visited to help recruit other visitors, including former Auburn tight end commit Hollis Davidson, announced on Twitter that he is permanently locked in with the Tigers.
Another commit to shut down his recruitment is 3-star cornerback Dante Core from Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Core, who committed last month, expressed his enjoyment of spending time with players and coaches during his official visit, stating it felt like a family and a home away from home.
Additionally, 4-star offensive tackle Carde Smith from Mobile, Alabama, reaffirmed his commitment to Auburn. Despite plans to visit USC and potentially Mississippi State and Florida State, Smith emphasized that there is no chance he will flip from Auburn, citing the supportive environment and love he feels from the Auburn community.
The Auburn football class of 2025 now has 15 commits and is ranked #6 nationally.
