Following his official visit to Oregon over the weekend, Manning canceled his remaining visits and chose the Ducks.

**What Demetri Manning Says About Oregon**

“Every time I visited Oregon, there was something new to discover. You can be yourself, and they accept you for who you are.”

“I love the coaches. I love head coach Dan Lanning, coach A’lique Terry, and coach Mike Cavanaugh. They can definitely develop me for the next level.”

“I love the town of Eugene. It offers a bit of everything and has great facilities.”

“If you go to Oregon, you are set up to succeed.”

**Who Else Was in the Mix**

Manning had official visits to UCLA and Washington and had planned trips to Miami and Arkansas. Despite strong interest from these schools, the visit to Oregon solidified his decision. There was speculation that Washington might sway him after his visit there, but Oregon ultimately prevailed.

**Where Demetri Manning Ranks as a Recruit**

Manning is a three-star recruit according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings. He is ranked as the No. 25 interior offensive lineman in the 2025 class by 247Sports and the No. 4 recruit in Washington. Nationally, he is ranked as the No. 70 offensive lineman and the No. 5 player in Washington in 2025.

**How Demetri Manning Fits with Oregon**

Under Mario Cristobal, Oregon excelled in recruiting offensive linemen, a trend that has continued under Dan Lanning, who prioritizes the trenches in his recruiting strategy. A’lique Terry played a significant role in Manning’s decision. Manning’s versatility allows him to play both tackle and interior positions, which is crucial as Oregon transitions to the Big Ten this fall.

**Analysis of Demetri Manning**

“Manning is a massive and physical offensive lineman, known for his aggressive play. He stands close to 6’7″ and 345 pounds with an 83″ wingspan. Despite his size, he moves well and primarily plays left tackle at the high school level. He could play right tackle in college, but long-term, he seems suited for an interior lineman role. Manning has the traits to be an outstanding guard and a multi-year starter. He plays with sound technique, uses his hands well, and maintains good foot movement. He is a dominant run blocker and can control a defensive line by himself. While he moves well for his size, leaning out to around 330 pounds could enhance his quickness. Manning has a high ceiling and NFL potential if he continues to develop.”
