**Cowboys Sign Former Texans CB**
The Dallas Cowboys, who had a strong regular season last year and entered the playoffs as the second seed in the NFC, have made a new addition to their roster. Despite an impressive season led by star quarterback Dak Prescott, the Cowboys were defeated by the Green Bay Packers, led by Jordan Love, in a surprising playoff loss. This defeat frustrated fans who had hoped for postseason success.
In response to the disappointing playoff exit, team owner Jerry Jones promised offseason changes.
However, the Cowboys have been relatively quiet in making moves, adding to the fanbase’s frustration.
On Tuesday, the Cowboys signed former Houston Texans cornerback Gareon Conley, as reported by Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston. Conley, who was a first-round draft pick by the Raiders in 2017, hasn’t played in the NFL since 2019. Despite his once-promising potential and standout performance at Ohio State, Conley has struggled to make an impact in the NFL.
Conley’s signing is not seen as a significant acquisition, but it gives him a second chance to prove himself, at least during training camp, and potentially earn a spot on the Cowboys’ roster.
