On Thursday morning, Tennessee secured a significant commitment on the offensive line as they welcomed four-star recruit Nic Moore into their 2025 class. The native of Dandridge, Tennessee, made his announcement via X.
Moore, who is 6-3 and 300 pounds, is a potential interior offensive tackle. Moore is ranked 228th overall in the class of 2025 by 247Sports, making him the 13th best interior offensive lineman in the nation. In the state of Tennessee, he is ranked as the fifth prospect.
After visiting Moore’s high school, Tennessee extended an offer to Moore on May 10.
Moore made Tennessee his destination after his formal visit the previous weekend. The Volunteers are chosen over Moore’s official trips to Vanderbilt and West Virginia this month. Moore was being recruited by West Virginia and Vanderbilt as a defensive tackle. He is anticipated to play on the offensive end of the ball alongside Glen Elarbee at Tennessee.
The track and field team also fields a two-way lineman.
Moore’s acquisition brings Tennessee’s 2025 class commitment total to 12. Moore joins the group’s offensive linemate, Antoni Kade Ogumoro. Tennessee’s class rises to No. 16 in the preliminary class rankings, according 247Sports.
