Done Deal: Kansas State Wildcats Football Full Commitment List Revealed With Addition Of Another Top Talented Star

Three-Star Linebacker Dominic Mitchell Commits to Kansas State

Dominic Mitchell, a talented linebacker from Brophy Prep in Phoenix, Arizona, has committed to play college football for the Kansas State Wildcats.

Mitchell, a three-star prospect, announced his decision on Wednesday after an official campus visit last weekend. He chose Kansas State over eight other scholarship offers.

Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 200 pounds, Mitchell is one of the top defensive prospects in Arizona for the 2025 class. His commitment comes ahead of his senior year.

“I visited Kansas State with many questions, and by the end of the weekend, I had all the answers I needed,” Mitchell shared with 247Sports. “The culture at Kansas State, centered around football, family, brotherhood, and life, convinced me this was the place for me. The coaching staff believes in me and can develop my skills, making me feel like part of the family.”

Ranked as the No. 195 linebacker in the nation and No. 31 overall prospect in Arizona for the 2025 class by 247Sports, Mitchell had an impressive junior season with 72 total tackles, including 5.5 for loss, in 13 games.

Mitchell expressed his enthusiasm about joining coach Joe Klanderman’s defense. “Coach Klanderman is a great teacher who understands the game deeply. I believe the defensive scheme suits my skills, and my versatility will allow me to play either jack or strong safety. I can’t wait to be part of it.”

With Mitchell’s commitment, Kansas State’s 2025 recruiting class now includes double-digit commitments.
