Kinsey Fiedler Joins Lady Vols
**KNOXVILLE, Tenn.** – Tennessee softball head coach Karen Weekly announced on Friday that former Washington Husky Kinsey Fiedler (FEED-lur) has signed with the Lady Vols.
“We are ecstatic to welcome Kinsey to the Lady Vol softball family,” Weekly stated. “Kinsey is a proven winner and leader. Her competitive spirit is evident every day on the field. Her character and values perfectly match our culture, and I’m excited to have her join our program.”
Fiedler, a rising senior, boasts a career .283 batting average with 92 runs scored, 23 home runs, and 71 RBIs. A left-handed hitter, she has a career slugging percentage of .530, an OBP of .397, and 27 stolen bases over the past three seasons.
In 2024, Fiedler had her best collegiate season, slashing .336/.573/.411 with 30 runs, seven home runs, and 27 RBIs.
A versatile player, Fiedler has played both infield and outfield positions during her time in Seattle, appearing in every position except pitcher and first base.
Hailing from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Fiedler played in 150 games, starting in 143 of them, with the Huskies. In 2023, she played a key role in leading Washington to the Women’s College World Series, marking their first appearance in Oklahoma City since 2019.
