Sad News: Just In USC Trojans Confirm Another Major Setbacks With The Departure Of Another Top Highly Rated 5-Star

**USC Trojans Lose Another Five-Star Recruit, DL Justus Terry Decommits**

Less than a day after five-star EDGE Isaiah Gibson announced his decommitment from USC, five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry has also decided to back out of his commitment to the USC Trojans.

Terry had been committed to USC since an unofficial visit in March. His decision was somewhat unexpected as he has longstanding ties to Georgia, having visited the state seven times, with his most recent official visit there on May 31. He was supposed to visit USC officially this weekend on the 21st.

Standing at 6-4.5 and weighing 275 pounds, Terry is ranked as the second overall defensive lineman in the 2025 class. The top-ranked defensive lineman, Elijah Griffin, is also from Georgia and is scheduled to visit USC this weekend.

While not entirely surprising, Terry’s decommitment is a setback for the USC Trojans, causing their 2025 recruiting class to drop from third to just outside the Top 10, now ranking 11th.

Nevertheless, there is ample time and opportunity for USC to improve their recruiting class before signing day in December. The situation can change rapidly, as demonstrated by the events of the past 12 hours, and upcoming recruiting weekends could bring new commitments.

**Scheduled to Visit USC Trojans Campus This Weekend:**
– Elijah Griffin, DL ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
– Jared Smith, EDGE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
– Malachi Goodman, DL ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
– Marco Jones, EDGE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
– Carde Smith, OT ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Auburn Commit)
– Trajen Odom, DL ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
– Gus Cordova, DL ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (USC Commit)

Despite Terry’s decommitment, there remains a wealth of talent for the Trojans to recruit. It will be up to Coach Riley, Coach Lynn, and Coach Henderson to secure highly skilled players who are truly committed to being USC Trojans. The next six months leading up to December promise to be eventful!
