Done Deal: Mavericks Finally Reach Agreement To Sign Confirm for $160 million Top Experienced Star

The Dallas Mavericks are looking to make significant moves this offseason to bolster their roster after their NBA Finals loss to the Boston Celtics. One of the key players they are reportedly interested in is Jerami Grant of the Portland Trail Blazers.

Grant, who has become a standout player over the past few seasons, would be an excellent addition to the Mavericks. Last season, he averaged 21.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 0.8 steals per game, while shooting an impressive 45.1 percent from the field and 40.1 percent from three-point range. His ability to score in various ways—whether off the catch, driving to the rim, or creating his own shot—makes him a versatile offensive threat. Additionally, his potential as a strong defender could help solidify Dallas’ defense.

Integrating Grant into a starting lineup alongside Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, P.J. Washington, and Daniel Gafford could provide the Mavericks with a more balanced and potent lineup. This move would also allow Derrick Jones Jr., who has been valuable off the bench, to continue contributing in a sixth-man role if re-signed.

While keeping Jones Jr. is a priority, the Mavericks are clearly focused on enhancing their shooting capabilities, which is essential for a deep playoff run. Washington showed promise in the playoffs, but adding a proven shooter like Grant would mitigate the risk of relying on less consistent shooters.

In summary, trading for Jerami Grant could be a game-changer for the Mavericks, potentially propelling them back to the top of the Western Conference and improving their chances for another Finals appearance.
