Dontrell Glover, South Carolina Target, Chooses Georgia
Dontrell Glover, previously a target for the South Carolina Gamecocks, has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs.
Despite South Carolina’s efforts to bolster their 2025 recruiting class, Glover, an offensive lineman, opted for another SEC powerhouse. On Monday, he declared his commitment to Georgia.
Glover, a four-star recruit, is ranked as the 285th-best player nationally, the 16th-best interior offensive lineman, and the 34th-best player overall by 247 Sports composite rankings. South Carolina, which currently boasts 14 commitments including one offensive lineman, Shedrick Sarratt Jr., in their 2025 class, had been vying for Glover.
After visiting South Carolina in May and being listed among his top choices, Glover visited Athens in June. A few weeks later, he confirmed his decision to join the Bulldogs.
