Done Deal: Just In Green Bay Packers Confirm To Reached Agreement To Sign Top Experienced NFL Offensive Lineman In Free Agent

**Green Bay Packers Cleared to Make Major Offensive Addition**

The Green Bay Packers aim to carry their late-2023 offensive momentum into the 2024 season. Quarterback Jordan Love and his young teammates hit their stride in the latter half of the season. Although they’ve already signed Josh Jacobs for the 2024 season, the Packers may further bolster their offense.

**Packers Get “Green Light” to Sign Offensive Lineman**

According to Freddie Boston of FanSided, the Packers have the go-ahead to sign free agent Connor Williams. With a strong starting tackle duo and a Pro Bowl left guard, adding Williams could solidify another key position on their offensive line.

Williams, experienced at center and left guard, excelled as a center before a torn ACL ended his 2023 season. Now a free agent, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Williams is in talks with multiple teams and plans to decide before training camp.

Current Packers center Josh Myers has been inconsistent, showing potential but needing improvement, especially entering his contract year. Williams, who was Miami Dolphins’ starting center last season, earned an impressive 86.5 PFF grade, ranking third among centers in overall performance, run blocking, and pass blocking—significantly higher than Myers.

Adding Williams could enhance the Packers’ running game and overall offensive efficiency, making life easier for Jordan Love. With an already strong offensive line, Williams’ addition could elevate the Packers’ lineup to one of the league’s best.
