Good News: Just In FSU Confirm The Signing Of Another Top Talented Highly Rated 5-Star

Blue-Chip Defensive Tackle Kevin Wynn Commits to FSU

The Seminoles have secured a major win by landing blue-chip defensive lineman Kevin Wynn from Georgia.

Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles are celebrating another verbal commitment for their #Tribe25 class.

Defensive tackles coach Odell Haggins is thrilled with the addition of Kevin Wynn, a top-tier defensive tackle.

Standing at 6’2” and weighing 320 pounds, Wynn plays for Greene County High in Georgia. According to 247Sports Composite, he is the 194th best player in the nation, ranking 24th among defensive linemen and 29th in Georgia.

Wynn chose FSU over more than two dozen offers from prestigious programs, including Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisville, LSU, Miami, Michigan, NC State, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and USC.

As a sophomore, Wynn earned Defensive Player of the Year honors in his division, recording 45 tackles (18 for loss), four sacks, and a forced fumble. His junior year was even more impressive, with 70 tackles (30 for loss), two sacks, a fumble recovery, and a blocked field goal.

Wynn’s highlights showcase his ability to dominate running backs once he gets his hands on them. Despite strong efforts from Kirby Smart and the home-state Bulldogs, Wynn committed to FSU after also visiting South Carolina and Texas.

FSU had the best opportunity to recruit Wynn out of Georgia and succeeded in securing his verbal commitment. Wynn has the potential to become a multi-year starter and, at the very least, a high-quality rotational player.
