**Georgia Lands Major Former Alabama Commit**
Dontrell Glover, a 6-foot-2, 315-pound offensive lineman, hasn’t even played his senior year of high school football yet but already boasts an impressive recruiting profile. With 20 offers, Glover initially committed to Alabama but decommitted after Nick Saban left the Crimson Tide.
Hailing from Fairburn, Georgia, Glover received an early offer from Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs. After decommitting from Alabama, he quickly identified Georgia as his top choice.
“Georgia became my top school when I decommitted,” Glover told On3. “When I decommitted, many schools showed interest. I attended a spring practice and then the spring game at Georgia. I could see myself playing in Athens, in Sanford Stadium, and calling it home.”
Glover is not only excited about playing for Georgia but also confident in the Bulldogs’ current and future success. He believes that under Smart’s leadership, the team has championship potential and that his 2025 class can be extraordinary.
“I feel like Georgia is going to go above the moon,” Glover said. “We’re going to be an unstoppable team. When I get there, we’re going for a national championship. I know that. Georgia is going to be a great place, and we have a great chance to achieve big things.”
With Glover’s commitment, Smart’s 2025 class is currently ranked No. 4 in the nation, with expectations of further improvement. Glover, from Langston Hughes High School, is ranked as the No. 16 interior offensive lineman prospect in the 2025 class.
