Good News: Just In Duke Football Confirm To Commit Another Top Talented SEC fans Favorite Star

With the addition of another gifted player from Georgia, the Duke football coaching staff is still actively seeking new recruits.
The Duke football team recently brought in a 2025 recruiting class that was heavily focused on defense. But many Diaz and company’s recent hot streak has helped to level out those figures rather well.

Wide receiver Jaimon Solomon of Georgia is the newest offensive playmaker to commit to the Blue Devils. On Sunday, he announced his choice on X.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound prospect is ranked as a 3-star player by 247Sports.com, making him the 103rd best wide receiver in America and the 77th best player overall in Georgia. He has offers from several universities in addition to Duke, including Arkansas State, Pitt, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, and Southern Florida.

In the current recruiting cycle, Solomon is the second wide receiver to pledge to the Blue Devils. He joins another native of Georgia and three-star recruit Gerritt Kemp, who committed to Duke on June 10.

Solomon finished the previous season as a junior at Jones County High School with 671 yards and seven touchdowns in 12 games. Even so, he had to compete against two other FBS wide receiver commits.

It’s interesting to note that Duke views Georgia as a top recruiting destination. Seven of the 21 commits to the program are from Peach State.

At the moment, Duke boasts the 21st best recruiting class in the nation. That is a clear indication that Diaz is making progress in developing the overall talent in his program.

Compared to what his predecessors were doing, it’s a significant improvement. According to 247Sports, Duke’s 2024 class was placed just 59th overall. Furthermore, since 2017, there hasn’t been a top-50 class in the program.

Under Diaz, the first-year Blue Devil head coach who is causing waves in the talent pool, all of that is changing. It will be interesting to watch how the 2025 class is finished by this new coaching group.
Diaz has added more balance to the equation than he did a few weeks ago, since ten of the class’s twenty-one players are on the offensive end of the ball. Rather than having to concentrate on areas of particular need, he can now flesh out this group by going after the finest players he can land.
