Good News: Just In Tennessee Titans Confirm One Step-Away From Completing Deal To Sign Two Top Experienced Stars

**Titans Reportedly Interested in Two UFL Players**

Titans general manager Ran Carthon is exploring innovative ways to enhance his team’s roster.

According to reports, the Tennessee Titans are showing interest in two UFL players. AtoZ Sports revealed that Carthon is considering veteran defensive end Breeland Speaks, who led the league with 9.5 sacks this season and was named Defensive Player of the Year.

Speaks is a familiar name, having been a second-round pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018 after his standout career at Ole Miss. He has since played for several teams before joining the USFL’s Michigan Panthers in 2022, where he also led the league in sacks. He continued his dominant performance in the UFL following the USFL-XFL merger.

The Titans might be looking for a defensive end or outside linebacker after Denico Autry signed with the Houston Texans in free agency. Speaks has demonstrated his skill at the UFL/XFL level and deserves another chance in the NFL.

Additionally, the Titans are reportedly interested in UFL wide receiver and special teams returner Juwan “Sonic” Manigo, according to AtoZ Sports.

Manigo played for the Arlington Renegades last season. While the Titans have a strong receiver lineup with Calvin Ridley, DeAndre Hopkins, Tyler Boyd, Treylon Burks, and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Manigo could contribute as a returner. He ranked second in the league for kick return yards (962) and fifth for punt return yards (123) last season.

Several Titans players have practiced as kickoff and punt returners during organized team activities (OTAs) and mandatory minicamp, including rookie sixth-round receiver Jha’Quan Jackson. Given his experience, Manigo could be a serious contender for a spot on the Titans’ 90-man roster ahead of training camp.
