**Saints to Sign Former Raiders Safety Roderic Teamer**
The New Orleans Saints are set to sign former Las Vegas Raiders safety Roderic Teamer, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Teamer, a New Orleans native, was invited to try out during last week’s minicamp.
Teamer attended Brother Martin High School and Tulane University, where he played for four years with the Green Wave.
During his collegiate career, he was named second team All-American Athletic Conference in 2018. He finished his college career with 197 tackles, 15 passes defended, 3 interceptions, and 3 sacks over 46 games.
In 2019, Teamer signed as an undrafted free agent with the Los Angeles Chargers. He then had a brief stint with the Indianapolis Colts before joining the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021.
Returning to his hometown, Teamer will now join the New Orleans Saints as their newest member.
