**Five-star DL Mariyon Dye Commits to Tennessee**
Tennessee football continues its strong recruiting streak with the commitment of Mariyon Dye, a four-star edge rusher from Indiana. Dye announced his decision on Friday afternoon via X.
The 6’5″, 270-pound prospect is ranked 150th nationally in the 2025 class by the 247Sports Composite rankings. He is the 14th ranked edge rusher in his class and the third-ranked player in Indiana.
Dye’s commitment comes shortly after his official visit to Tennessee last weekend. He also visited Ohio State, Purdue, Miami, and Michigan, and received offers from LSU, Penn State, Texas A&M, and Florida State.
Given his size, Dye is expected to play as a strongside defensive end for the Volunteers.
With Dye’s commitment, Tennessee’s recruiting class has risen to No. 10 overall. The Volunteers now have 16 total commitments, including four-star prospect Ethan Utley and three-star prospect Charles House on the 2025 defensive line.
