**5-star 2025 CB Dijon Lee Commits to Alabama Football**
Kalen DeBoer’s impressive first full recruiting class as Alabama’s head coach received another boost on Friday with the commitment of five-star cornerback Dijon Lee to the Crimson Tide’s 2025 class.
Lee, who plays high school football at Mission Viejo in California, is highly rated according to the 247Sports composite. He chose Alabama over other top programs, including Texas and Georgia. The announcement was made live on his Instagram account from Mission Viejo.
“Can smother an opposing receiver at the line of scrimmage and is very good in press coverage,” wrote 247Sports national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins in his scouting report of Lee. “Has good feet and change of direction for a tall corner and is rarely beaten over the top. Can get in and out of his breaks and gets his hands on a lot of balls. Is physical in run support and isn’t afraid to get downhill and lay a big hit on a running back. Is a smart, heady player as well.”
Lee completed his junior year at Mission Viejo with 55 tackles, including 22 solo, along with two interceptions and 13 pass breakups.
Standing at 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds, Lee is ranked as the No. 4 cornerback nationally for the 2025 class according to the 247 composite. He is also listed as the top player in California and 22nd in the nation overall.
Lee’s commitment marks the 20th for Alabama’s 2025 class. He is the second cornerback to join, alongside four-star Chuck McDonald, who is also from California. Additionally, Lee is the second five-star player in the class according to the 247 composite rankings, following linebacker Darrell “Duke” Johnson.
