ESPN Sad News: Ravens confirm the departure of another top experienced star due to….

Tayvion Robinson, an undrafted rookie wide receiver, was cut by the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday. In a move that coincided with their goal of returning to 91 players on the roster, minicamp tryout and six-year veteran Keith Kirkwood was signed on Friday.
Kirkwood took part in the mandated minicamp held by the Ravens as a tryout and used a strong enough performance to secure a position on the roster when the team reunites for training camp in July and August.

The 29-year-old Kirkwood has played his whole career in the NFC South. He was formerly an undrafted free agent and attended Temple University during his college career. After spending his first two seasons with the New Orleans Saints, where he joined initially, he played for the Carolina Panthers for two years before going back to New Orleans.

Between regular season and playoff play, Kirkwood has participated in 32 games. During that time, he has 26 receptions on 45 targets for 302 yards and four touchdowns. At six feet three inches and 210 pounds, he provides bulk to a position group that could use it to help spread out the talent’s skill sets.
