Done Deal: Just In Kalen Deboer Confirm Major Boost With The Signing Of 5-Star CB Who Reject FSU And Auburn Tigers

5-Star 2025 CB Dijon Lee Commits to Alabama Football

Kalen DeBoer’s impressive first full recruiting class as Alabama football’s head coach gained another valuable addition on Friday. Cornerback Dijon Lee committed to the Crimson Tide, becoming part of the 2025 class.

Lee, a five-star prospect per the 247Sports composite, plays high school football at Mission Viejo in California. He selected Alabama over other top programs, including Texas and Georgia.

Lee made his announcement live from Mission Viejo via his Instagram account.

“Can smother an opposing receiver at the line of scrimmage and is very good in press coverage,” wrote 247Sports national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins in his scouting report on Lee. “Has good feet and change of direction for a tall corner and is rarely beaten over the top. Can get in and out of his breaks and gets his hands on a lot of balls. Is physical in run support and isn’t afraid to get downhill and lay a big hit on a running back. Is a smart, heady player as well.”

Lee completed his junior year at Mission Viejo with 55 tackles, including 22 solo tackles. He also had two interceptions and 13 pass breakups.

Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 190 pounds, Lee is ranked as the No. 4 cornerback nationally for the 2025 class according to the 247 composite. He is also rated as the top player from California and the 22nd in the nation overall.

Lee is the 20th commitment in Alabama’s 2025 class and the second cornerback pledge, joining four-star Chuck McDonald, also from California. He is the second five-star player in the class according to the 247 composite rankings, with linebacker Darrell “Duke” Johnson being the first.
