Good News: Just In Minnesota Timberwolves Confirm The Signing Of Another Top Experienced NBA All-Star

**Minnesota Timberwolves Sign 10-Year NBA Veteran Joe Ingles**

The Minnesota Timberwolves have signed free agent forward Joe Ingles to a one-year deal worth $3.3 million, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. This move reunites Ingles with two other former Utah Jazz players on the Timberwolves roster.

With the departure of backup forward Kyle Anderson to the Golden State Warriors, Timberwolves President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly needed to find a replacement to fill Anderson’s minutes. Anderson was a key part of the Timberwolves’ rotation, maintaining their supersized frontcourt presence.

**What Joe Ingles Brings to the Timberwolves**

Ingles is known for his elite sharpshooting, consistently hitting 38% or better from three-point range in all but two of his 10 NBA seasons. Last season with the Orlando Magic, he connected on 43% of his three-point attempts. At 6’9″, Ingles adds positional size and secondary playmaking, which will help keep Minnesota’s lineups jumbo-sized.

Off the court, Ingles is praised for his leadership and positive influence in the locker room. Former teammates have spoken highly of his ability to help young players mature while maintaining a fun atmosphere.

**Familiar Faces**

Ingles spent his first eight NBA seasons with the Utah Jazz, playing alongside Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley. The trio, along with Donovan Mitchell, regularly made the playoffs and reached the semi-finals in the 2020/21 season. Ingles’ tenure with the Jazz ended after the 2021/22 season due to an ACL injury that limited him to 43 games.

**Still Productive**

Despite the ACL injury, Ingles made a strong comeback. He signed a one-year deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, where he was a solid rotational player, and then spent last season with the Magic, providing crucial shooting off the bench for the young playoff team. Ingles has made the playoffs every healthy season since 2017. With his new deal on the title-contending Timberwolves, Ingles seems poised to make the playoffs for the eighth consecutive year.
