Good News: Dallas Mavericks Confirm The Signing Of Another Top Experienced Star To A Deal Worth….

**Dallas Mavericks Sign Promising Young Point Guard to One-Year Deal**

Free agency in the NBA has significantly slowed down, with most top free agents already signed. The Dallas Mavericks made a big move by acquiring Klay Thompson in a sign-and-trade, securing him for three years. Beyond that, the Mavs have been relatively quiet.

The Mavericks currently have 14 players under contract, leaving one open roster spot. They filled one of their three two-way contract spots on Wednesday.

**Dallas Mavericks Re-sign Brandon Williams to Two-Way Contract**

According to Mavs PR, Dallas has re-signed Brandon Williams to a two-way contract for the upcoming season. Williams, who joined the Mavs on a two-way contract mid-last season, impressed with his performance in the G League.

Williams averaged 24.1 points per game for the Texas Legends last season. Though he didn’t see much playing time with the Mavericks, he did appear in 17 games, averaging 3.2 points and 1.0 assists per game. While not immediately part of the Mavs rotation, Williams is a promising young prospect.

At 24 years old, Williams has demonstrated potential in the G League as a formidable scorer. He possesses a tight handle, excellent quickness, and can easily get to the rim. His finishing ability around the basket is underrated for an undersized guard, and he has a reliable pull-up mid-range jumper.

Although his three-point shooting needs improvement, Williams is confident in taking and making tough shots. If he can develop a consistent three-point shot, it will further enhance his driving game.

Re-signing Williams to a two-way contract was a smart move for Dallas, especially considering their need for backcourt depth. With continued development, Williams could eventually become a regular part of the Mavericks’ rotation.
