Sad News: Just In Ohio State Confirm Injury Of Another Top Talented Star

He injured his knee, thus the Ohio State football team will be without a running back.
The Ohio State football team struggled mightily a few years ago to maintain the health of their running backs. Throughout the 2022 season, TreVeyon Henderson and Miyan Williams both experienced intermittent injuries. Henderson’s foot truly required surgery to repair the damage later.

Williams’ season was cut short the previous year due to a knee injury. Henderson missed 10 of the thirteen games that he was eligible to play in last season. After obtaining Quinshon Judkins through the transfer portal, Ohio State was looking for a season full of healthy running backs.

The Buckeyes needed to add Judkins to their roster to guard against another Henderson injury. They have two backs, but nobody else gets significant playing time. Regretfully, they may have lost their running back for the season.

One of Ohio State’s running backs is out for the season.
The depth at running back for Ohio State has suffered further. According to Bucknuts’ Dave Biddle, TC Caffey, a walk-on, will now probably miss the season due to a knee injury. The Ohio State football team was hopeful that despite his status as a walk-on, he could offer some depth if necessary.

The Buckeyes will now have to rely on some freshmen to fill in if Henderson or Judkins get hurt, as Caffey is probably out of the picture. For a club that plans to run the ball more now that Chip Kelly is in charge of the offense, that is not ideal.

Although Caffey wasn’t expected to play much this season, he was most likely going to get some snaps. If Henderson or Judkins are injured, then it will now be necessary to rely on James Peoples and Sam Williams-Dixon. They are both actual first-year students. That’s not what the Buckeyes want to find themselves in.
