Travis Smith, a four-star wide receiver from Atlanta, Georgia, has committed to the Tennessee Volunteers as of 2025.
Travis Smith, a wide receiver from Westlake High School, committed to the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday, formally ruling out options including Alabama, Auburn, and Georgia. Before his decision week began, the Vols established the standard and accomplished one of their main goals for the class.
Smith is ranked by On3 Industry Rankings as the 81st best prospect in the 2025 class. In his junior year, he had eight touchdowns and 34 receptions for 587 yards against some of the best players in the nation. He joins Sheffield High School’s Radarious Jackson and Baylor School’s Joakim Dodson as Tennessee’s third wide receiver commit of the class.
In the 2025 recruiting cycle, Smith is the sixteenth commit for the Volunteers. They anticipate decisions from the following prospects in the upcoming month and still have a number of top targets on the board: David Sanders Jr., the offensive tackle at Providence Day School, Christian Gass, the linebacker at Eastside High School, and Lagonza Hayward, the safety for Toombs County.
