**Ryan Murphy Resigns as Head Coach of Texas Women’s Golf**

Ryan Murphy has resigned as the Head Coach of Texas Women’s Golf. Reflecting on his tenure, Murphy expressed gratitude for his 16 years at the University of Texas, stating, “The University of Texas has been great to me and my family, and I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to be a coach here. I’ve enjoyed my 16 years around many terrific young people on my teams as well as many great people that work in Texas Athletics.

I am happy with what we achieved in my 10 years as the Head Women’s Golf Coach, and I believe the program is in a great place. I look forward to rooting on the players I’ve had the pleasure to coach into the future.”

Chris Del Conte, UT Vice President and Lois and Richard Folger Athletics Director, also acknowledged Murphy’s contributions: “We are extremely appreciative of Ryan Murphy and all that he has given to Texas Athletics, not only in his role as Head Women’s Golf Coach over the last 10 years but also in his time as an assistant here with men’s program. We wish Ryan and his family nothing but the best moving forward.”
