Breaking: Auburn Tigers Confirm The Departure Of Two Talented Stars

Two Auburn baseball players, pitchers Chase Allsup and Tanner Bauman, were selected in the 2024 MLB Draft on Monday night.

Allsup was chosen 127th overall in the fourth round by the Baltimore Orioles. Bauman was picked 271st overall in the ninth round by the New York Yankees.

 

Allsup made 19 starts and appeared in 50 games during his career at Auburn, amassing 159 strikeouts over 140 innings. Bauman, a reliable member of the pitching rotation in his two seasons with the Tigers, made nine starts and appeared in 42 games, recording 89 strikeouts in 94.1 innings, according to Auburn Live.

The MLB Draft concludes today with rounds 11-20.
