Done Deal: San Antonio Spurs Confirm The Signing Of Another Top Experienced NBA Star

**San Antonio Spurs Acquire Harrison Barnes in Three-Team Deal**

The San Antonio Spurs have made another move in free agency, acquiring former NBA champion Harrison Barnes in a three-team trade, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The deal involves the Sacramento Kings, Spurs, and Chicago Bulls, with the Kings signing DeMar DeRozan to a three-year contract in a sign-and-trade arrangement.

In this trade, Harrison Barnes will join the Spurs, while Chris Duarte, two second-round picks, and cash considerations go to the Bulls.

Barnes, 32, brings valuable veteran experience to the Spurs’ young roster. He has played significant roles in various NBA playoff series, including the 2014 and 2015 NBA Finals. The 2012 seventh-overall pick from North Carolina, known for his 6-foot-7 stature and versatile skills, is expected to enhance the Spurs’ defensive strategy.

Last season, Barnes averaged 12 points and three rebounds per game for the Kings.

This acquisition follows the Spurs’ earlier trade on Saturday, where they sent guard Devonte Graham and a 2025 second-round pick to the Charlotte Hornets for cash considerations.
