Following his expulsion and subsequent reinstatement by Wisconsin, Quintez Cephus filed for the draft early and set records for receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns while playing for the Badgers. He caught 20 passes for 349 yards and two scores on 35 targets during his first campaign.

A league source claims that the Texans have also checked out wide receiver Jesse Matthews in addition to Cephus.
