Na’eem Offord, a five-star player according to every major recruiting agency, is among the most gifted talents in the 2025 class. He is a star player for Ohio State, which is presently ranked second in the country.
That being said, as his recruitment heats up, there has been conjecture about a possible flip. Three schools in particular are the focal point of a lot of that clamor.
Offord is a native of Birmingham, and throughout this process, in-state schools Alabama and Auburn have courted him. Earlier this summer, the defensive back visited both schools, and while he was there, athletes tried their best to pitch to him.
Those attempts have not succeeded thus far. Nevertheless, Offord seems to still have a lot of interest in both universities and Oregon.
Is he going to flip? Not, he says!
Na’eem Offord puts an end to conjecture.
The five-star player commented after reading an Ohio State story that suggested he would decommit.
The report underlined how much of a loss a flip would be for the Buckeyes while mentioning his interest in other universities. Offord would have none of it!
He implies that his commitment to Ohio State, which was renewed in February, is unwavering. Still, he continues to make overtures to the Ducks, Tigers, and Tide!
As long as he keeps scheduling visits to other universities, the rumors will not end. If the Buckeyes can persevere will be observed.
