Official Packers News: 2 Key Players Land On PUP List Before Training Camp

**Green Bay Packers: Two Key Players on PUP List Before Training Camp**

The Green Bay Packers need to stay healthy for the 2024 season after a 2023 season riddled with injuries, which nearly cost them a playoff spot. Key players Aaron Jones and Christian Watson missed several games due to hamstring injuries. The team hopes to avoid significant injuries during the 2024 training camp.

Cornerbacks Jaire Alexander and Eric Stokes, who missed several games last season, are projected to start this season. However, some players are already sidelined as training camp begins.

**Offensive Players Tucker Kraft and Zach Tom on PUP List**

Second-year tight end Tucker Kraft and offensive tackle Zach Tom are on the PUP list due to pectoral injuries. Kraft, a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft from South Dakota State, caught 31 passes for 355 yards and two touchdowns last season, averaging 11.5 yards per catch. His absence opens opportunities for tight ends Ben Sims and Tyler Davis to make an impact in camp.

Luke Musgrave is set to start at tight end for the Packers. Kraft and Tom are expected to be ready for the regular season, with Musgrave and Kraft playing significant roles in two tight-end formations.

With Tom sidelined, the Packers must decide whether to try rookie Jordan Morgan at right tackle or keep him at left tackle to compete with Rasheed Walker. They may also consider moving Tom to right guard if Sean Rhyan struggles. If Morgan isn’t tried at right tackle, Luke Tenuta is the projected right tackle in Tom’s absence. The offensive line remains a significant question mark for the Packers as they enter training camp.
