**Commits to Miami Hurricanes Football Team**
Coach Mario Cristobal secured Miami’s second-highest rated commitment of the 2025 cycle with the pledge of former LSU commit Jaboree Antoine, ranked No. 54 in the ESPN 300.
Antoine, a four-star cornerback from New Iberia, Louisiana, initially committed to LSU on January 27 but reopened his recruitment on June 23 after visiting Miami and Florida State. Less than a month later, he committed to the Hurricanes, becoming their top defender and second-ranked prospect in the 2025 class, following five-star offensive guard S.J. Alofaituli.
Cristobal’s 15th addition to the 2025 class since June 1, Antoine is the No. 2 prospect in Louisiana this cycle. He joins Alofaituli and four-star safety Hylton Stubbs as one of three top-100 prospects committed to Miami, whose 2025 class currently ranks 10th in ESPN’s latest team rankings.
A collarbone injury limited Antoine to just five games during his junior season at Westgate High School. In January, he committed to LSU over Texas and Tennessee, becoming a cornerstone of Brian Kelly’s 2025 class. Antoine’s commitment lasted until late June, with LSU, Miami, and Florida State in the mix before he chose between the Tigers and Hurricanes.
Now committed to Miami, Antoine leads a defensive class that includes Stubbs, inside linebackers Elijah Melendez (No. 4 ILB) and Gavin Nix (No. 5 ILB), defensive end Herbert Scroggins (No. 27 DE), and cornerback Chris Ewald (No. 29 CB).
Antoine’s commitment brings Cristobal’s total to 10 ESPN 300 pledges, positioning Miami’s 2025 class as one of college football’s fastest-rising. With the nation’s seventh-ranked cornerback on board, the Hurricanes are poised to continue climbing as they chase a third straight top 10 class.
