Breaking : Top Experienced Vancouver Canucks Star Decline New Contract Offer And Confirm He Wants To Leave

The Bruins have signed Nikita Zadorov to a six-year, $30 million contract, according to league sources.

At 29 years old, Zadorov brings much-needed toughness to the left side of the Bruins’ defense, complementing Hampus Lindholm. Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 248 pounds, Zadorov is known for his physical style of play. Last season, he played for both the Flames and the Vancouver Canucks, like his new teammate Elias Lindholm.

In the 2022-23 season, while with the Flames, Zadorov delivered a clean but impactful open-ice hit that injured Nick Foligno, causing him to miss the remainder of the regular season.

During his 54 games with the Canucks, Zadorov recorded five goals and nine assists, averaging 17:04 of ice time per game and 1:33 on the penalty kill.

With Zadorov’s addition, the Bruins can pair Mason Lohrei with Andrew Peeke on the third defensive line, allowing Lohrei to focus on his offensive skills while improving his defensive play.
