Done Deal: Mario Cristobal Confirm Major Boost With Signing Of Another Top Talented Star

Jaboree Antoine has committed to the Miami Hurricanes football team, becoming the second-highest rated recruit for Miami’s 2025 class. Antoine, a four-star cornerback ranked No. 54 in the ESPN 300, originally committed to LSU on January 27 but reopened his recruitment on June 23 after visiting Miami and Florida State.

Antoine now joins Miami as the top defensive recruit and the second-ranked player in their 2025 class, behind five-star offensive guard S.J. Alofaituli. Antoine is Coach Mario Cristobal’s 15th addition to the 2025 class since June 1, with six recruits from the ESPN 300. He is the No. 2 prospect in Louisiana and one of three top-100 prospects, alongside Alofaituli and four-star safety Hylton Stubbs, in Miami’s 2025 class, which ranks 10th in ESPN’s team rankings.

Despite missing most of his junior season due to a collarbone injury, Antoine committed to LSU in January over Texas and Tennessee. His commitment lasted until late June, with LSU, Miami, and Florida State in contention. He ultimately chose Miami over LSU earlier this week.

Antoine leads a strong defensive class for Miami, which includes Stubbs, inside linebackers Elijah Melendez and Gavin Nix, defensive end Herbert Scroggins, and cornerback Chris Ewald.

With Antoine’s commitment, Cristobal now has 10 ESPN 300 pledges, making Miami’s 2025 class one of the fastest-rising in college football. With the nation’s seventh-ranked cornerback, Miami is poised to continue climbing in pursuit of a third straight top-10 recruiting class.
