**Golden State Warriors Reportedly Make Signing Immediately After Summer League**
Following their Summer League exit after a 102-99 semifinal loss to the Miami Heat, the Golden State Warriors have quickly made roster moves. Keith Smith of Spotrac reports that the Warriors signed forward Jackson Rowe to a training camp contract, following Daeqwon Plowden’s two-way contract earlier in the week.
Jackson Rowe, who impressed during the Summer League, contributed six points, seven rebounds, two assists, and four steals in nearly 27 minutes against the Heat. He had been averaging 12.7 points on 51.7% shooting and 36.8% from three-point range over his previous three games. The 6’7″ forward was already familiar to the Warriors, having played for their G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, last season where he averaged 13.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists, shooting 49.4% from the floor and 35.6% from beyond the arc.
Rowe’s strong performances, part of the team’s 7-1 combined record in the Vegas Summer League and California Classic, suggest he might not be the only player to receive a training camp invite. Kevin Knox, with an impressive 31-point performance against the Heat, and guards Ethan Thompson and Yuri Collins also stood out and could join Rowe in training camp. Meanwhile, the Warriors have yet to finalize a contract for 52nd overall pick Quinten Post.
Currently, the Warriors’ two-way spots are filled by Plowden, Pat Spencer, and Reece Beekman, although Beekman was absent after the first two games of the California Classic. Rowe’s training camp deal puts him in contention for a two-way contract, but he may likely return to Santa Cruz for further development in the G League next season.
