DEAL DONE, TERMS AGREED! Cleveland Browns’ Newest Signing Expresses Joy And Optimism As He Sends A Heart Touching Message To Fans After Signing A Mind Blowing Contract With Brown

**Browns WR Amari Cooper Discusses Uncertain Future After New Deal**

Amari Cooper is set for the upcoming season with the Cleveland Browns, but his long-term future with the team remains unclear.

The Browns guaranteed Cooper’s $20 million for this season and added $5 million in incentives. Although this agreement benefits both parties, it doesn’t secure Cooper’s future in Cleveland as he is scheduled to become a free agent next offseason.

“I’m content for sure. Obviously I wanted more guarantees in the contract, just because I feel like I’ve earned it,” Cooper said on July 25. “But you know, you can’t always get what you wish for. If I have to go earn it, that’s what I’ll do.”

Cooper, 30, had an outstanding season, catching 72 passes for 1,250 yards and five touchdowns. The previous year, he caught 78 passes for 1,160 yards and nine touchdowns. If he maintains this performance, the Browns will likely attempt to retain him, though he could attract other teams as a free agent.

**Cooper’s Commitment to the Browns**

Despite skipping mandatory minicamp, Cooper reported to training camp after the revised deal, stating that holding out was never an option for him.

“Holding out was never in the cards. I don’t have any experience doing it,” Cooper said. “I’m kind of a routine guy, and I need those reps. I always knew I was going to be here at training camp.”

Cooper expressed his desire to remain with the Browns, emphasizing his success on the field and his preference for stability.

“It’s been nothing but success here. I look to get better each year while I’m here,” Cooper said. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I’m not trying to go somewhere else. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. I’d rather stay. I don’t like change. If change happens, I can adapt, but I don’t necessarily like it.”

**Excitement for New Teammate Jerry Jeudy**

Cooper will team up with new Browns WR Jerry Jeudy, who was acquired via trade this offseason. Cooper, Jeudy, and Elijah Moore all hail from Florida, and Cooper is excited about the potential of their partnership.

“It’s phenomenal that we have all Florida receivers out there,” Cooper said. “We’re all South Florida guys. We’re good route runners and have been playing football since a young age. I think we’ll definitely feed off each other and create some fireworks this year.”

The Browns open the season against the Dallas Cowboys on September 8.
