2025 4-star WR Commits to FSU
The Florida State Seminoles secured a significant win on the recruiting front as 2025 4-star wide receiver Malik Clark from Rock Hill, South Carolina, announced his commitment to FSU on Thursday afternoon, according to Hayes Fawcett.
Clark’s decision came as a surprise since all crystal ball predictions on 247.com had projected him to stay local with either USC or UNC. However, the 6’3’’ senior chose to head south to Tallahassee instead.
Mike Norvell and Ron Dugans continue their strong recruiting efforts, securing their third blue-chip wide receiver commitment for this cycle, with none of the recruits being from Florida. Clark had taken an official visit to Florida State on June 14th.
The 6’3’’, 185-pound receiver had an impressive junior season, catching 46 passes for 800 yards and nine touchdowns. He also excelled in track, ending his season with a swift 10.62 100-meter time.
Norvell is gradually expanding his recruiting reach into the Carolina region. In the last cycle, he secured LB Timir Hickman-Collins from South Carolina and D’Nas White from North Carolina. Now, with Clark’s commitment, the Seminoles are also in the running for CB Onis Konanbanny, who visited on May 31st.
247sports ranks Clark as the 213th best player in the country and the 24th best wide receiver, while On3 ranks him at 238th overall and 6th among wide receivers.
