Latest Alabama News: Just In Five -Star Commit To Alabama Over Auburn And Ole Miss

Caleb Cunningham, a 2025 commit to Alabama, has had an amusing week. There were rumors that he will still go to Auburn’s Big Cat weekend despite his commitment to the Crimson Tide last week. Cunningham took to X to post, “I don’t care what nobody says,” in response to numerous comments from Tigers supporters speculating that he would break his commitment. No flipping occurs.”

The Mississippi native announced on his X account today that he will not be attending Auburn this weekend. Following his social media post, he had a humorous conversation with an Auburn supporter about how poorly the news was received by the public.

Cunningham adopted the good guy stance and praised the Auburn fan who had tweeted, “We literally don’t care,” which sparked an engaging back and forth.
Cunningham concluded, saying, “I’m cool with him because that’s who I am, dawg.” He really is a dawg.”

Despite being heavily recruited by Auburn, Ole Miss, and other universities, Cunningham declared his commitment to Alabama and decided to attend. According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, the Choctaw Country High School prospect was rated as the No. 2 wide receiver and the No. 13 player overall.

The gifted 2025 prospect received a lot of criticism from supporters of Auburn and possibly other teams. He did, however, handle everything nicely, responding with a little sarcasm but nothing hurtful. Fans must understand that recruits choosing to commit to other programs over others is frequently not personal. They believe that whichever path they take in life is the best one for them and are making important decisions.
It is stated that Caleb Cunningham may attend Juice Fest on Saturday in Oxford, which falls on the same weekend as the Alabama Cold Summer Cook-Out. He hasn’t said as of yet whether he plans to attend Juice Fest.

Ole Miss has a long list of athletes who are scheduled to attend, and Lane Kiffin is hoping to lock down a couple of commits the week following Juice Fest.
