**Bruins Officially Announce Jersey Numbers for New Players**

The Boston Bruins have unveiled the jersey numbers for their new additions this offseason. Riley Tufte, Elias Lindholm, Mark Kastelic, Max Jones, Joonas Korpisalo, and Nikita Zadorov will sport the black and gold with the following numbers:

– **Riley Tufte: No. 10**
Joining Boston’s forward depth, Tufte hopes to establish himself in the NHL. Previously a 25th overall pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, he has played just five games with the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche. Notable Bruins who have worn No. 10 include Marty McInnis, Ron Sutter, Barry Pederson, Jean Ratelle, and Rick Smith. A.J. Greer last wore it in 2023.

– **Elias Lindholm: No. 28**
One of Boston’s key free-agent signings, Lindholm continues with the No. 28, which he’s worn for most of his career. Since 2009, six different Bruins have donned this number, including Mark Recchi, Dominic Moore, and Ondrej Kase. Derek Forbort wore it most recently.

– **Mark Kastelic: No. 47**
Kastelic returns to No. 47, which he wore early in his career before switching to No. 12 with the Ottawa Senators. His grandfather, Pat Stapleton, wore No. 4 for the Bruins, but it’s now famously associated with Bobby Orr. Torey Krug was the last notable Bruin to wear No. 47 from 2012-20.

– **Max Jones: No. 49**
Jones sticks with No. 49, a number he has worn from his time with the London Knights to the Anaheim Ducks. Only seven Bruins have worn this number, first featured in 1991 by Shayne Stevenson. Rich Peverley was the last to wear it from 2011-13.

– **Joonas Korpisalo: No. 70**
Korpisalo retains No. 70, a number he’s worn throughout his career. Only four Bruins have worn it, three of whom were goalies. Matt DelGuidice was the first in 1991, and Tim Thomas wore it for a season in 2003 before switching to No. 30. Jesper Boqvist had it last year.

– **Nikita Zadorov: No. 91**
Zadorov, the largest player on the Bruins’ roster, will wear No. 91. Known for wearing No. 16, he chose No. 91 as an “upside down 16” since Rick Middleton’s No. 16 is retired by the Bruins. Marc Savard, who coached Zadorov with the Calgary Flames, was the only previous Bruin to wear No. 91 and gave his blessing for Zadorov to use it.
