On the offensive side of the ball, the coaching staff is well-positioned. Mike Norvell, the head football coach, has a history of locating exceptional players who complement the team’s culture and will score points.
The Seminoles have won 23 games in a row the last two seasons, demonstrating how successful the plan has been lately. As the season approaches closer to arrival, there are still recruiting targets available.
Four-star running back Ousmane Kromah of Lee County High School in Leesburg, Georgia, is one player I have my eye on. I know I’m optimistic that the Seminoles will be able to sign four-star prospect Byron Louis from American Heritage High School in Fort Lauderdale, but Kromah has the potential to be something spectacular.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Kromah is the 83rd-best prospect for the entire 2025 recruiting cycle. On Saturday afternoon, he paid the Seminoles an unofficial visit. It’s notable that the gifted back has expressed how much he loves Florida State.
Instead of attending the historic June 23rd weekend (when he officially visited Georgia), the star Seminole from Lee County High School officially visited the Seminoles over the June 7th weekend. He traveled to Auburn during their recruiting event on Saturday afternoon following his early afternoon visit to Tallahassee.
In his recruiting process, Kromah has now narrowed down to four schools: Florida State, Georgia, Tennessee, and Auburn. It’ll be a sprint to the line. The Auburn Tigers have been gaining traction with commitments following their recruitment event, but I would personally be concerned about the home-state Bulldogs.
With current players like Roydell Williams, Lawrance Toafili, and Caziah Holmes retiring after the 2024 season, I would love for the Seminoles to select both Louis and Kromah in the recruitment process. But I think there’s a chance it ends up like Chase Loftin-Hollis Davidson, where the coaching staff can only start one running back and then go through the transfer portal to get the other one.
