Official NBA News: Just In Golden State Warriors Waived Another Top Veteran Following Contract Dispute

**Golden State Warriors Waive Another Veteran**

The Golden State Warriors have decided to waive yet another veteran player, further adjusting their roster ahead of the upcoming season. This move signals the Warriors’ continued efforts to refine their lineup and potentially make room for younger talent or strategic acquisitions.

As the team navigates its roster changes, fans and analysts alike are keeping a close watch on the Warriors’ strategies and how these decisions will impact their performance in the highly competitive league.

**Chris Paul Shares Messages from Spurs Legends After Signing**

Chris Paul revealed in his introductory press conference in San Antonio that he received congratulatory texts from Spurs legends Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili after the news of his trade broke. Their support has increased his excitement about joining the team.

Despite the opportunity to play closer to his LA-based family and pursue a championship, the 12-time All-Star prioritized playing time. “My family is everything,” Paul said. “But if I’m not playing, I’m not happy. My family knows that, and that’s why I’m grateful to be here.”

Paul is known for boosting the winning percentage of every team he’s played on, a much-needed attribute for San Antonio, who finished with the second-worst record in the league last season. “I always say I hate to lose more than I like to win,” he remarked.

Paul has a history of mentoring young NBA talents and will now be playing alongside generational talent Victor Wembanyama. However, he remains humble and eager to learn from his younger teammates. “I’ve learned from guys like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Devin Booker, and Mikal Bridges. I’m excited to share what I know with these guys and see what I can learn from them,” Paul said.

Paul’s decision to join the Spurs, despite the personal sacrifice, underscores his passion for playing and his commitment to the game.
